New Computer System Speeds Order Processing

Laurel Springs - In our never-ending quest to improve customer service and satisfaction, grapestompers.com has acquired a new desktop computer and server for our growing network, and has upgraded its POS (point of sale) software to the latest version.

The new Windows 2000 server (from Dell), located in our warehouse, acts as our data store and controls access and logins. We've even set up an automatic daily tape backup to protect our data. Our new desktop computer, a Dell OptiPlex GX50 with tons of RAM, will handle the brunt of making free wine labels for our customers. It's a vast improvement over our old Pentium Pro machine!
