Date Set for 5th Annual Wine Tasting
Laurel Springs - Bonnie Brown, manager of grapestompers.com,
has announced that a date has been selected for this year's wine
tasting, to be held at the Burgiss
Barn in this community near the Blue Ridge Parkway in northwestern
North Carolina.
The wine tasting will take place at 2:00 PM on Sunday,
October 6, 2002. "We're looking forward to hosting our fifth
annual event," said Brown. "It seems to get bigger and
better each successive year."
The annual wine tasting is a free event, but reservations
are required to attend. RSVP's will be taken beginning the first
of September, by calling grapestomper.com's toll-free number
(800-233-1505) or via e-mail.
"We're planning a great day, with food, music,
and friendship," said Brown. "Lots of our customers will
be there to show off their latest wines."
Over 20 different wines will be available for tasting
at this year's event.
"The admission is free," Brown observed,
"but we ask that everyone bring their own wine glass... you
know, BYOG!"
